About Us

Mission Lazarus is a holistic ministry that focuses on basic primary education, skill development, health education and treatment, agricultural development, and preaching and teaching the Word of God. These goals are being accomplished through various church based projects. The success of every Mission Lazarus project depends on each servant involved; the mission employs over 100 locals in its various projects who work as mentors, teachers, evangelists, and managers of the projects. Without local Christians as leaders working in every project, the projects could not be a success.

    Spiritual Outreach

With a focus on the poor, rural areas in Latin America, Mission Lazarus works daily with local preachers to augment growth in their existing congregations as well as to collaborate in plans for church-planting. If a preacher will plan an outreach, organize it, and see it through, Mission Lazarus will form a collaborative relationship with the preacher to support his work plan.

    Educational Outreach

It is through education that a developing country makes the slow transition to become a developed country. In the same way, it is also through education that a new Christian learns how to bring others to Christ. Mission Lazarus has five education projects located in the towns of Choluteca and San Marcos de Colon, Honduras.

    Medical Outreach

The medical ministry functions as an instrument for the people it serves, people of minimal financial income and great medical need, to know Jesus and His Church through direct medical treatment, health education, and direct and indirect evangelism, never denying consultation due to lack of financial resources, and always allowing for glory and recognition to be given first and foremost to Jesus and His Church using Christ’s own example of Preaching, Teaching and Healing.

    Agricultural Outreach

Most farmers in Latin America depend entirely on the harvest to live. These subsistence farmers and their families suffer hunger and more when there is a bad crop. From ongoing agricultural training seminars which train farmers in cost-effective techniques, to cooperative-based projects and seed and fertilizer distribution, Mission Lazarus continues to build relationships with rural mountain communities while God opens doors to teach His Word and reap a harvest all His own.

    Mission Lazarus Refuge

The Mission Lazarus Refuge is a safe haven located on a 1,250 acre working ranch in in southern Honduras, providing a home, love, care, and an education for children who have suffered greatly in their battle against poverty.
